    Teletransmission multi-functional Smart Meter Model DSST846-B works through the GPRS network of China Mobile or China Unicom to transmit the power system data collected from industrial meters and civil meters to the local, city and provincial level concentrated monitoring centers in real-time in order to perform unified monitoring and distributed management of the power monitoring equipment. The GPRS network can provide the power system with simple but efficient transmission means of communication.

    With the help of the WAN wireless IP connection provided by the GPRS system of China Mobile or China Unicom, a remote meter reading system is established on the mobile communications company's GPRS service platform so as to achieve wireless transmission of the meter data. It's characterized by full use of the existing network, shortened construction period, lower construction cost, strong real-time significance, and possibility of remote control. It¨s also easy to install and maintain the equipment.
    In terms of performance, teletransmission multi-functional Smart Meter Model DSST846-B meets the requirements of the Chinese National Standards GB/T 17215.321-2008, GB/T 17215.323-2008 and DL/T 614-2007 and DL/T 645-2007. Industrial grade Siemens modules GSM/GPRS MC55 are used, and industrial grade 32-bit ARM is used as the main processor, which has characteristics such as high accuracy in data measurement, reliable and timely transmission, and LCD display of Chinese characters.

Main System Functions
    Electricity Measurement Function
    Digital chips are used to measure electricity, making digital calibration possible at high accuracy;
    Software is used to calibrate the monitoring equipment, minimizing the tediousness and inconvenience of hardware calibration. In calibration, set-up switch for work mode is pushed to the left (close mode on the left and work mode on the right);
    Variable gain measurement and multi-section digital compensation are adopted, achieving electricity measurement higher than the overload capacity by several times;
    Possible to achieve reverse measurement on active power, limited measurement on reactive power four-phase;
    Forward and reverse measurement on active power, four-phase limited measurement are both 4-tarriff and total electric energy;
    Two routes of calibration pulse output, one route of calibration pulse on active power, one route of calibration pulse on reactive power, with width of calibration pulse in 90ms.
    # Functions to Indicate Voltage, Current, Power Factor and Power
    Real-time measurement, display voltage, current and phase sequence of phase A, B and C;
    Real-time measurement, display active power, reactive power and instantaneous active power/reactive power of phases A, B and C;
    Real-time measurement, display the current working quadrant of phases A, B and C;
    Real-time measurement of frequency of the power grid;
    Real-time apparent power and apparent power in phases A, B and C;
    Real-time measurement of the total power factor and power factors of phases A, B and C.
    # Time-shared Metering
    Time-shared control based on the real-time clock in the internal hardware, achieving time-period shift according to the time-period control parameters.

    # Reset mode
    For the convenience of the user, two reset modes can be opted to complete power transfer, transfer of required amount and reset to zero: remote and manual reset.
    # Load record
    Possible to record active power reverse A, B and C and total power, reactive quadrant total power, voltage (A, B and C), current (A, B and C), power factor (A, B, C and total), frequency (A) active power instantaneous power (A, B, C and total), reactive power instantaneous power (A, B, C and total).
    # Power freezing function
    It's possible to freeze instruction via tele GPRS radio, to freeze 3-phase active power forward, active power reverse and power and total power at various tarriffs, reactive forward, reactive reverse while recording the freezing time such as year, month, day, minute, second).
    # Data statistics
    Voltage conformity rate statistics
    Statistic data of voltage conformity rate: voltage monitoring time, voltage conformity rate, voltage overrun rate, voltage over-limit time, maximum voltage, maximum voltage occurence time, minimum voltage and minimum voltage occurence time.
    Statistics of appulse monthly average voltage conformity rate and saving 10 years of data;
    Statistcis of split-phase monthly average voltage conformity rate and saving 10 years of data;
    The monitoring instrument has voltage conformity upper and lower proportion; the default value of the conformity upper proportion is +20% while that of the conformity lower proportion is -20%, i.e. when the average voltage within one minute as actually measured is over 120% of the standard voltage, the monitoring instrument will determine it as over the upper limit; when the average voltage actually measured is lower than 80% of the standard voltage, the monitoring instrument will determine it as over the lower limit; at the same time, the instrument will monitor the total running time in each phase of A, B and C, the running time of voltage over upper limit and over the lower limit in each phase of A, B and C.
    # Input and output interface
    two 485 isolated interfaces, of which 485-1 is for calibrating the meter and reading, 485-2 is for transmission.
    # Reading fucntion at off-power
    Possible to read the meter by pressing the button manually when power is off.
