    Single-phase electronic multi-rate prepaid carrier-wave Smart Meter Model DDSFYI846 works through power line carrier-wave mode and technology to conduct duplex remote communication on the user's electric measurement and electric quantity information in order to achieve concentrated reading control of the electric quanity information, and it's also able to conduct remote power on/off control. It's used to measure the single-phase electric energy whose rated frequency is 50/60Hz. At the same time, it fulfills prepay conrol and load control for electricity consumption on the basis of purchase first and usage then. It conforms to the technical requirements on 1.0 class single-phase Smart Meter in standard GB/T 18460.3-2001.

Main Functions:

1. Measuring function: able to collect, measure and store electric quantity data; able to generate and display electric quantity in the last previous month, electric quantity in the previous month, and accumulated electric quantity; able to complete freezzing of accumulated electric quantity on a given date;
2. Power measurement: able to conduct real-time measurement of the user's current electricity consumption power and also record the maximum power and its occurence time;
3. Reading function: forming into an electric line carrier-wave reading system with the concentrator and the main control station to achieveing electric line carrier-wave reading function. Transmitting measurement information and control information through the electric line to achieve remote reading and remote control;
4. Able to work under regular pay mode or prepay mode
(1) Regular pay mode: able to set power-off date through carrier-wave reading system. When it's less than 7 days before the power-off date, the early warning starts up to alert the user to pay in time; if the user still has not paid on the power-off date, the meter will automatically cut off the output relay, thus discontinuing to supply electricity to the user;
(2)Prepaid mode: Through the carrier-wave reading system, the user can store the electric quanity that he has purchased into the carrier-wave Smart Meter. When the balance electric quantity is less than the quantity set for early warning, the power-off early warning function will start up to alert the user to purchase electricity in time; if the balance electric quantity is zero, the meter will automatically cut off the output relay, thus discontinuing electricity to the user.

6. Protecting function
(1)Over-voltage protection: When voltage from the grid is greater than the scope specified in the carrier-wave reading system, the meter will automatically cut off the output relay and will continue to monitor the voltage in the power distribution network; when the voltage comes back to normal, the relay is automatically actuates to restore power supply;
(2)Over-current protection: When the load current on the user's side is greater than the value specified in the meter, the output relay of the meter is cut off and is automatically connected again after a delay of 4 minutes. If it's still over-current, it will cut off the output again until the load on the user's side diminishes, the current gets lower than the specified value so that the relay automatically actuates to restore supply output;
(3)Power protection: When the load on the user's side is greater than the maximum permissble power preset beforehand, the power cut-off protection will activate. The maximum permissible power value can be set through the main station.
7. Monitoring function: Monitoring the real-time running condition of the meter through the main control station and find out abnormal condition of the meter in time.
