Electronic Single-phase Prepaid Smart Meter Model DDSY846 is a fully digitalized electric energy measuring instrument that adopts dedicated measuring
chip ADE7757ARN and integrate LED electricity quantity, display IC card operation, prepay control, and alarm for over-current and over-voltage together.
It's characterised by high accuracy, high reliability, strong over-load capacity, lower power consumption, small size, light weight, and multiple functions. Due to its
prepay function, it's one of the perfect products to achieve commercialization of electric energy and adjust the load status of the power grid, and tackle the difficulty
of collecting fees.
The product works under ambient temperature of -25℃~50℃ and relative humidity not over 85% and can be installed in cabinets indoors or outdoors. all of its
technical specifications conform to the technical requirements of standards IEC 62053-21:2003 and GB/T 17215.321-2008.
Function and Characteristics:
 (1) Metering system
* Fully digitalized and intellectualized: single-chip micro-computer is used to directly measure the electric energy consumed by current and voltage in a digitalized manner. It's in line with the trend of digitalization and intellectualization;
* Pre-pay Management: The user will pay first before using electricity, which will go off once used up. It's possible to avoid the difficulty of pressing for payment afterwards;
* High sensibility: Able to measure a small load below 10W, eliminating the shortcoming of short measurement or mis-measurement by mechanical meters.
(2) IC card
* This product adopts dedicated hardware and software cards as the IC cards. In view of the weakness of security in the prepaid meters existing in China, this meter
adopts random incryption with IC card strictly designed to one meter and one number. The user can set up and modify the password to the meter in his own meter,
but it's not possible for the users to borrow the password from each other.
* Two-way information exchange with electricity card: the meter reads the electricity quantity in the card and feeds back the current balance, accumulated electricity
and the working condition of the meter to the IC card, and sends to the sales management system in next purchase.
* Special function card: to be provided to the managerial staff with reset card, number set card with restriction on the number of use, which will automatically record
the number of meter being operated onto the IC card when it is inserted, to make it easy for check.
(3) Alarm function
*When the user's current balance electricity reaches the set value, the meter will display alarm when the user inserts the purchasing card into the card once again, it
will be possible to use 5kWh electricity. This function just reminds the user to purchase electricity in time.
(4)Maximum load control function

(5) On/off switch
*On/off reliable: high-quality magnetic latching relay is used to tackle the problem of contact adhesion with ordinary electromagnetic relay under big current and
contact chatter under voltage fluctuation. The action of pulse supply power reduces the power consumption.
